Donna Ferreira has been in the finance industry in Silicon Valley for the last 12 years. She is licensed and active as a Realtor (R), Loan Officer and Loan Processor. Having survived the dot-com bust and then the real estate bust (both in Silicon Valley) she uses what she has learned to educate borrowers so they can be a more at cause and less at effect as home owners. One of the things that she wants to help correct in real estate and mortgage financing is that often Loan Officers, Real Estate Agents and Brokers use language and terms of the finance industry without really explaining these things to the borrowers. This can lead to misunderstandings between agents and their borrowers. Lack of understanding by the borrower can also lead to rip-offs by unethical agents. Donna seeks to prevent these things by educating borrowers through her website. Outside of her work in the finance industry, Donna’s passions include human rights and animal rescue. She and her husband live in a home run by 3 cats, all rescued kitties from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley.
